'Acoma' black hollows with coral and turquoise
£33.00
The Southwestern flair of these beads is immediately obvious. Ideally teamed with some of the traditional colours used in Southwestern jewellery such as black onyx, turquoise and red jasper (a great substitute for red coral), this set would make a statement piece anyone would be proud to wear.
Four hollow focal beads in black glass trailed with turquoise and coral glass are accompanied by five smaller beads similarly decorated. The hollows measure approximately 14 x 22mm.
The beads have been made on 3/32" (2.2mm) mandrels, are fully annealed and cleaned.
The fosetta in the beads are a sign of an expert craftsman, each one rounded and curving into the bead, giving a smooth and elegant feel to the beads and allowing them to be used in a project without worrying about the stringing material being cut or chafed by sharp edges.
The set is temporarily wired on craft wire with small spacer beads.
