Five beads based on white glass and layered in geometric dots of rich, transparent amethyst glass. The techniques of dot placement and masking are two of Mike's favourite bead embellishments. He feels that this set exemplifies all the skills he has as a beadmaker.
The
fosetta in the beads are a sign of an expert craftsman, each one
rounded and curving into the bead, giving a smooth and elegant feel to
the beads and allowing them to be used in a project without worrying
about the stringing material being cut or chafed by sharp edges.
The beads measure approximately 12x16 mm and are temporarily strung on copper wire with Czech glass bicone spacers.
