'Azteca' turquoise and yellow beads (6)

Classic beads by Mike, turquoise blue and a nice rich orange-yellow glass combine in these precise dots.

Mike enjoys using the glass properties to make a statement of artistic style, along with technical expertise and a feel for the way the colours react and the layers of dots move on the surface of the bead. 

The fosetta  in the beads are a sign of an expert craftsman, each one rounded and curving into the bead, giving a smooth and elegant feel to the beads and allowing them to be used in a project without worrying about the stringing material being cut or chafed by sharp edges.

The beads measure approximately 12x16 mm and are temporarily strung on copper wire with Czech glass bicone spacers.
