'Charon' black, white and transparent amethyst beads

Black, white and transparent dark amethyst form this set of beads.  Classic, elegant and dramatic, the combination offers the opportunity to create a piece of jewellery with flair.  The beads measure approximately 12 x 16mm.

The beads have been made on 3/32" (2.2mm) mandrels, are fully annealed and cleaned.

The fosetta in the beads are a sign of an expert craftsman, each one rounded and curving into the bead, giving a smooth and elegant feel to the beads and allowing them to be used in a project without worrying about the stringing material being cut or chafed by sharp edges.

The set is temporarily wired on craft wire with small spacer beads.
