'Cleopatra' necklace with turquoise, black and lapis lampwork

One of the series of 'Shakespeare's Ladies' necklaces, a hint of exotic and dangerous climes attend this rich necklace.

Created with twisted tubes of lapis, turquoise and black glass, with three classic turquoise glass melon beads are featured.  The spacers are the semi-precious carnelian much loved by the Egyptians, along with high-fired gold-layered ceramic tube beads.  Accent beads of black onyx finish the necklace which is closed with a gold-plated barrel clasp.
