Anglo-Saxon beads based on finds from Buckland Grave 373
The Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Buckland is located on Long Hill, Dover. It was an inhumation cemetery which means a number of interesting finds have been made, undamaged by fire.
This reproduction of the bead set from Grave 373 includes a classic colour combination of monochrome beads in coral and cobalt blue glass, with one bead in black glass with white waves which is a style known from the Iron Age as well.
The set of beads measures approximately 6,7cm or 2 1/2 inches.
