Anglo-Saxon beads based on finds from Buckland Grave 412
The Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Buckland is located on Long Hill, Dover. It was an inhumation cemetery which means a number of interesting finds have been made, undamaged by fire.
This reproduction of the bead set from Grave 373 includes a classic colour combination of polychrome combed beads in coral and white glass, with three beads in coral glass with trailed patterns.
The set of beads measures approximately 11cm or 4 1/2 inches.
