Anglo-Saxon beads based on finds from Sarre Grave 260
The Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Sarre in Kent is a wonderful resource for beads. The finds from there show a wide range of bead types and also the quantity of beads per grave varies widely.
The reproduction beads in this set are three long tubes with lengthwise grooves, like elongated melon beads in cobalt blue.
The beads average approximately 25mm each in length.
