'Qin' red, black, white and ochre yellow lampwork bead

Using a variety of techniques to create this set, Mike has laid bands of transparent red, opaque white and ochre yellow over a black base, and using gravity and heat has produced marbled stripes on the bead.  This has been overlaid with a band of black glass and decorated with white and ochre yellow dots.  Matching spacers in ochre yellow complete the set.  The larger beads measure approximately 14x18mm.

The beads are, as always, created with attention to style and technique, with classic fosetta (dimples) to ensure that there are no sharp or rough edges to affect stringing materials. Each bead is annealed and cleaned before being strung on craft wire, with complementary spacers.
