'Saturnalia' turquoise, black and ochre beads

There's not a lot to say about these beads.  Mike excelled himself, each large bead is a hollow, using a variety of techniques to create these six beads which would make a fabulous statement necklace or could be separated to be used as single focals for a variety of projects.  The glass is simple, black, turquoise and red-roof tile.

The largest 'Saturn' bead measures approximately 14x22mm, the others vary in size and are accompanied by a set of black and turquoise lampwork spacer beads.

The fosetta in the beads are a sign of an expert craftsman, each one rounded and curving into the bead, giving a smooth and elegant feel to the beads and allowing them to be used in a project without worrying about the stringing material being cut or chafed by sharp edges.

The set is temporarily wired on craft wire with silvered Czech bicone spacer beads.
