Anglo-Saxon beads based on finds from Sarre Grave 23
The Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Sarre in Kent is a wonderful resource for beads. The finds from there show a wide range of bead types and also the quantity of beads per grave varies widely.
This is a reproduction of a set of beads from Grave 23, a small set with an interesting transparent green glass pendant, which is an unusual element. There is also a cube-shaped ivory glass bead with green dots. Altogether an interesting and unusual set of beads.
