Vintage keys are always popular, but what do you do when you lose the tea caddy or the escritoire falls to pieces and all you are left with is the key?
Put a bead on it. Which Mike has done. Isn't he clever?
Each combination of key and bead are one of a kind. The bead is permanently fixed to the key due to the immutable rules of glass, heat and metal. The key has been wire-brushed but not treated with any preservatives, oils or other treatments, so make sure to keep it safe and dry otherwise you might get a bit of rust.
The size of the key is shown in the photo below. Measurements are in mm. Yes, it is that little!
