Leonora - custom handmade lampwork in Suffragette colours
Inspired by the Suffragette movement and the centenary of votes for women in the UK
Leonora Cohen gained fame as the "Tower Suffragette" after smashing the display case for the Crown Jewels held in the Tower of London. She lived to the age of 105 and was active in the 1970s during the wave of feminism in the UK.
Special lampwork beads in barleytwists incorporating the colours of the Suffragette movement, handmade by Mike, etched for a soft glow, accented with white agate beads, Swarovski crystals and small pearls and silvertone accent beads. The necklace is finished with a sterling silver clasp.
