J C Herrell is an artist whose work I have been collecting for years. Each time she makes a bead, it is original and amazing. She moves from precise dots to dusted enamels to HUGE beads to small and intricate works.
These lovely etched beads are from several sets purchased over the years. When people would come for a lesson or to visit, I often showed my collection of beads, and JC's beads were always a favourite. These are beads I never used in jewellery, probably because I didn't want to part with them. Now, it's time for them to fly away. Eleven beads in the collection, works out to less than £5 per bead. JC's command of dot and stringer work is considered by many to be of the finest quality. You can't argue with that.
I am reluctantly selling my collection because the car needs work which will take more cash than I have.
