Anglo-Saxon beads based on finds from Buckland Grave 308, Dover, Kent
Reproduction bead set with cobalt blue and coral glass beads, based on the Anglo-Saxon burials at Buckland - Grave 308
The Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Buckland is located on Long Hill, Dover. It was an inhumation cemetery which means a number of interesting finds have been made, undamaged by fire.
This reproduction of the bead set from Grave 308 includes an interesting 'frit' bead in black glass with small bits of crushed coral glass melted on the surface, along with two black beads with green waves overlaid by a trail of coral glass.
