Black glass with raised bands of yellow glass Viking beads based on finds from Sebbersund, Denmark.
Each bead is approximately 15mm in diameter, but will vary as they are individually handmade. The hole is 2.2mm.
Viking-era glass bead from Sebbersund in Denmark, an example from the Aalborg Historiske Museum, with an estimated date of 760-790 AD. these lampworked beads have been created using the traditional method of winding layers of molten glass around a mandrel (metal rod) and then decorating the bead with additional molten glass bands.

These reproduction beads are made on a 2.2mm mandrel, and will easily fit on 2mm cord. They average approximately 15x18mm but will vary as each bead is individually handmade.
They are fully annealed and cleaned before being made available for sale.
